Fougères (Fabienne) is an embroidery in wool thread mounted on a stand. The execution line is quick to convey something of the energy of the body and skin. A muscled, veined body in bright colors but held at rest. The embroidery mounted on a stand allows observation of both sides of the work, with the reverse side adding a reading where the body becomes blurred under a maze of thread. Depending on the visitor's position, a drape reveals or conceals the embroidery.

Fougères (Fabienne) est une broderie au fil de laine montée sur portant. Le trait d’exécution est rapide pour raconter quelque chose de l’énergie du corps et de la peau. Un corps musclé, veiné, aux couleurs vives mais qui se tient au repos. La broderie montée sur portant permet d’observer les deux faces du travail, le verso ajoutant une lecture où le corps se floute sous un dédale de fil.
